Dear Air France

I recently travelled with your airline to Paris Charles de Gaulle and had a most pleasant flight, both going there and coming back, as is usually the case with Air France. Quite superb in-flight croissants it goes without saying. However the happy memories of the trip has since been somewhat marred. This is because of the preferential treatment you gave to a passenger with a broken leg on the return journey, allowing him to board the aeroplane before the other passengers, and allocating him a privileged seat. Because this passenger did not have a broken leg! I know this for a fact because the man in question is a member of my golf club, and two days after the flight he was walking round the golf course like a two-year-old! I brought up with him the subject of his 'broken leg' and he just laughed and told me that whenever he flies he always pretends that he has a broken leg so that he will receive preferential treatment. Words failed me!

After thinking it over I feel that something must be done about the matter, as this man flies regularly to Paris on business, and I can simply not stomach the thought of the bounder continually duping you like this. Not to mention his getting better treatment than his fellow passengers, who have paid exactly the same price.

I feel that I should blow the gaff on this man without further ado, but I will leave the final decision to you. So please let me know as soon as possible if you wish me to reveal the name of the culprit.

Yours faithfully

T Ravenscroft (Mr)
