Dear Air India

I shall be travelling to Bombay with your airline this summer for a holiday, and whilst I am there I hope to buy an elephant. Could you please let me know how much it will cost to fly it back to England? I am afraid that I can't at this stage give you the weight of the elephant, since it depends upon what I can get hold off at the time, but it will have to be a fairly big one as I intend to use it on my smallholding instead of a tractor. (A smallholding is a small English farm in case you're wondering). So perhaps you can give me the price of flying a range of elephants, weighing from say 1000 kilograms to 3000 kilograms? But perhaps the exact weight of the elephant isn't important? Maybe you charge by the elephant rather than by the kilo, in which case there won't be a problem.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely

T Ravenscroft (Mr)
