Dear Air
Malta
|
|
|
|
|
I hope to
visit Malta for a holiday later this year, and with this in mind I am looking
for an airline which can cater for my special dietary needs during the
flight.
My problem is that I live largely on a diet of
stir-fried mulberry leaves. I say largely, what I mean exactly is that I can
eat more or less anything I want within reason, just so long as I eat a
generous helping of stir-fried mulberry leaves at the same time. This is
because for the past three years I have suffered from a rare medical condition,
which renders me allergic to all food, unless its effect on my digestive system
is neutralised by hot mulberry leaves. (Cold mulberry leaves won't do, they
have to be hot and fresh, which is why stir-frying is the best cooking
medium.)
I have already approached a couple of airlines and
informed them of my special requirements, but without success. The excuse in
both cases was that they couldn't guarantee being able to obtain the mulberry
leaves. However since then I have had a flash of inspiration. Why don't I bring
along my own mulberry leaves! All that will then be required is for you to
stir-fry them for me. I realise of course that you aren't a Chinese airline,
but Chinese airlines don't seem to fly to Malta, otherwise I would have asked
one of them. However Maltese people do look a bit Chinese, so I'm sure that one
of your cabin crew should be able to handle a wok, if they can spare a few
minutes from going around with the duty-frees.
I look
forward to hearing from you.
Yours
faithfully
T Ravenscroft (Mr) |
