Dear J Greenall

Thankyou for your undated letter which I received yesterday.

I am more than a little disturbed at your reply. Announcements advising passengers that they can see certain geographical features out of the window are clearly dangerous, especially when obstreperous fat women are on board, yet you are clearly reticent about doing anything which would eliminate the danger.

However, for the record, the flight was from Funchal to London, on the 10th of April, I can't remember the flight number, and the announcement, in English with a very Portuguese accent, went something like: "If passengers sitting on the left side of our aeroplane are looking out of the window they will be seeing the coastline of our very nice Algarve region".

I await the comments of your Head Office, but not for too long.

Yours faithfully

T Ravenscroft (Mr)
