Dear Mrs
Boylan
|
|
|
Thank you
for the prompt reply to my recent letter.
I am afraid, with
your statement "We would very much like to investigate what happened
with the cabin crew concerned", that you must have misunderstood me. I wasn't
suggesting that it was the members of the cabin crew who were indulging in
in-flight fornication! Nothing could be farther from the truth. In fact I have
nothing but the highest praise for your cabin crew, all of whose behaviour was
exemplary throughout the entire journey. Granted I did at one stage notice the
captain and a stewardess disappear for ten minutes into the cubby hole where
you store the meals, but, although such an occurrence could give rise to
suspicions of impropriety by those on the lookout for mischief, I personally
prefer to think that whatever they were doing there was official business -
despite my hearing what sounded very much like the pop of a champagne cork, and
the captain emerging from the cubby hole a little breathless.
No, the couple in question were passengers, a young couple
from Dagenham according to the label on their hand baggage - she very possibly
being one of the Dagenham Girl Pipers from the way she was behaving with
intimate parts of his body!
I am sure you will be glad to
know that I have now got over the experience and am no longer
disturbed.
You didn't say anything in your letter regarding
my point that it might not be a bad idea if all the cabin lights remained on
during the entire flight. I feel quite strongly about this one and I really
would appreciate Cathay Pacific's observations, as I may very well pursue the
matter with the Civil Aviation Authorities.

Yours
sincerely
T Ravenscroft (Mr)
