Dear Delta Airlines

I am writing to you in my capacity as a founder member of the New Mills Players, an amateur - though very 'professional' in performance - drama society.

We have recently branched out into making feature films. (List of titles and price list available on request, although I must warn you that I am currently in negotiations with Virgin Atlantic to sell them our complete catalogue, so I may have to disappoint you).

The thing is, we need an aeroplane for our next production, a psychological disaster movie, working title 'One Flew Into The Towering Inferno'. Aware that aeroplanes don't last forever, and that you must get rid of them sooner or later, I was wondering if it would be possible for me to buy one of yours that you're finished with? I don't know what you do with them now when they have ceased to be airworthy -probably sell them to some Third World country where life is cheaper I imagine- but if you could let me have the next one that becomes available I would be happy to pay you the going rate. I'm not bothered what make the aeroplane is,just as long as it's an American one, as it is an established fact that American aeroplanes crash more often than European ones, and we want to make our film as realistic as possible.

I hope to hear from you soon with a keen price. Have a nice day.

Yours sincerely

T Ravenscroft (Mr)
