Dear Wong Teo Khoon

Thank you for your letter of 14th April.

I will provide you with the full flight details as soon as I've made the booking, although to tell you the truth I am beginning to have reservations about travelling with an airline whose staff find it amusing that a businessman might have his bags of cornflour gone through, and in all probability ruined. The humour in this situation eludes me completely. Perhaps the word 'cornflour' means something different in the Bahasa Malaysia language? Possibly 'condoms' or something like that, in which case I suppose my letter would provoke some laughter. So I would be grateful therefore if you could point out to me just what is so funny? Or maybe you are being facetious, in which case a letter to your Chairman might not be amiss.

Yours sincerely

T Ravenscroft (Mr)
