Dear Olympic Airlines

I will be flying to Crete with your airline in July, and on my return journey will be bringing back with me an item of masonry. The piece in question is a large stone urn which is at the moment, according to a photograph in the 'Go Greek' travel brochure, in a place called Knossos, which I gather is an ancient Minoan city. I don't know too much about Minoans but they certainly knew how to make an attractive urn! It looks quite splendid next to the olive tree outside the doorway of what I suppose was a Minoan nobleman's house, but I assure you that it will look even nice in my garden, next to the rhododendron bushes. I don't suppose you will miss it, as you seem to have lots of similar ones in Greece, even if most of them are broken.

I would estimate the weight of the urn to be about fifty kilograms, so could you let me know how much I will have to pay to bring it back to England with me on the aeroplane?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely

T Ravenscroft (Mr)
