I realise of course that with children on board you cannot show films like ''Emmanuelle" and 'Friday the Thirteenth'' nor would I want to see such films, but to inflict such dross as 'Sister Act' on paying passengers is taking blandness a little too far. Bearing the above in mind I have a suggestion to make to you. I am a founder member of the 'New Mills Players', a very successful amateur (although very 'professional' in performance) drama society. We have recently diversified into making films and have two 'in the can' already. They are 'Lady Don't Look Backwards', the story of an aristocratic lady who falls from grace, and 'Continental Shift', a French Factory saga set in the sixties, which is very much influenced by Zola in its portrayal of French low- life, and by Bunuel in its imagery. Both these films are full-length and shot on video. Currently in production is Hitler's List', an in depth condemnation of the Nazi war machine and its infamous Feuhrer. At a running time of four hours and thirty minutes 'Hitler's List' will be even longer than 'Schindler's List', but then Hitler had a longer list. All our films are suitable for a family audience, and far superior quality-wise to any film I have seen on the three trips to the States I have made with you during the last twelve months. The price of the films is £5000 each. This price gives you at Virgin Atlantic exclusive ''in the air''rights to the films, and as many prints as you have aeroplanes. When word gets round that you are showing the films it will doubtless pull in many extra passengers so you will recoup your expenditure on the films very quickly indeed. I await your order. Finally, I will be taking a party of thirty of the New Mills Players to perform in the Houston area this September. Do you fly to Houston, and if so are there any special rates for parties?
